Embracing the retro history

This kitchen was part of a private job we did for a client in Camden who was undergoing a major home renovation. The house was architecturally designed in the 70’s and very unique in its style, and the owners were keen to embrace the retro history of the home.

Our clients had a firm idea of what they wanted the final kitchen to look like; a modern kitchen which fitted in seamlessly with the retro vibes of the space. They had already picked out a matt black Dekton colour for their island top, so working with that selection the colour scheme came together as a combination of Dulux Domino polyurethane in a matt finish and Polytec ‘Satra Wood’ Ravine. Quantum Quartz ‘Alpine White’ was used on the wall run cabinetry, leaving the Dekton to be a feature in the island and an adjoining dining table.

With the client adding the finishing touches of an integrated TV in the mirror splash back by Crown Electrical, as well as the funkiest pendant lights ever, the kitchen really came together perfectly.

It really is truly unique.
